The Washington Post recently named "Come On" one of the 10 best songs of the year. XM radio played Shwa twice in the same hour. DC-101, Y-100, and Z-104 used the words "amazing", "fantastic" and "wow" to describe him.

These are just some of the recent accolades for the 24 year-old singer/songwriter. After cutting a debut album "Just a Thought" two years ago, Shwa has been touring constantly, making a name for himself in the thriving DC, Philadelphia, and London music scenes, and newspapers and radio stations have started to take notice.

The Washington Post said he packed “plenty of rhythmic vitality and melodic appeal,” while Tribe.net recently awarded him a recording package to Indre Studio (Coldplay, Weezer) as Philadelphia’s best local artist.

Now armed with Click Track—the first E.P. from his self-titled band—Shwa has arrived. The album is a collection of quarter-life crisis anthems, backed with haunting melodies and hooks, leaving the average listener no choice but to hum his songs after listening to them.

With media outlets and college campuses rapidly taking note of Shwa’s catchy, melodic rock, it’s only a matter of time until he joins the ranks of today’s most well known artists.
